 Audience: Students (Middle school-High school) Do’s and donts of Ai  https://iese.libguides.com/c.php?g=720748&p=5231608 https://iese.libguides.com/c.php?g=720748&p=5231608 When is it Appropriate to use Ai Idea: maybe give two scenarios of Ai being use correctly and incorrectly  Im doing research on how to properly train students to use Ai. Many students use Ai to cheat and don’t know that it has more purpose than just being an outlet to use that isn’t Google. As an educator it feels strange to talk about students using AI. We often tell students about how bad Ai is instead of the good it can do. I’ts going to be interesting to discover hot takes about the topic.

Diving Into Ethical Ai

 Ethical Ai is the usage of AI in an ethical way. Ethical Ai focuses on being non discriminatory, respects privacy, and avoids harm. Ethical AI is a helpful tool because it is designed to be fair and non discriminatory. This will help prevent sexism, racism, and any forms of unfair treatment. It is also helpful because it protects people’s privacy by limiting how personal data is collected and used. Ethical Ai can be harmful because it slows down innovation. Being ethical and following those rules ab take a lot of time and money compared to ai that is not ethical. It is also harmful/limiting because ethics is subjective. In different cultures what it means to be ethical varies. What is ethical in the United States may not be seen as ethical in Canada and vice versa. I plan to use ethical AI as a special education teacher for lesson plans and draft my ideas for IEP’s. I do not really see a need for my students to use ethical AI on their own as it may be too much for them to handle....

Diving Into Generative AI

  Generative AI is generative artificial intelligence which describes algorithms that are used to create new content. A few ways people may use AI is to create images, videos, answer questions, or to create schedules. As time passes people are trying to figure out ways AI can be helpful and ways that it can be harmful. A few pros of AI is it makes things more convenient by provide quick answers and it can provide human like answers that provide a better understanding A few cons of Ai is that it is said to be doing harm to the economic well being of people and businesses, it undermines critical thinking skills, and it can spread harmful misinformation. As a future special education teacher I plan to utilize AI in my classroom, but I don’t my students to have much if any access to it. I plan to use AI to create any lesson plans, help create schedules, and any things that I need created quickly I plan to use it for.
